Terms and Conditions

By booking accommodation at Ocean View Motel Bowen, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all bookings made directly through our website, over the phone, or via third-party platforms that process payments on our behalf (including Square).

1. Check-In and Check-Out

  • Check-in time: from 2:00 PM

  • Check-out time: by 10:00 AM
    Late check-out may be requested but is subject to availability and may incur an additional fee.

2. Booking and Payment

  • Bookings must be paid in full at the time of reservation to secure your room.

  • We accept Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and other payment methods supported by Square.

  • Prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellations made 24 hours or more prior to the day of check-in will receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the check-in day will not be eligible for a refund.

  • In the event of a no-show, the full booking amount will be charged.

  • Refunds (when applicable) will be processed to the original payment method.

4. Modifications

  • Booking modifications are subject to availability and must be requested at least 24 hours before check-in.

  • Rate differences may apply to date changes.

5. Guest Conduct

  • Guests must comply with all motel rules, including respecting quiet hours and ensuring the room is left in good condition.

  • Smoking is not permitted inside rooms. A cleaning fee will apply if this policy is breached.

6. Liability and Damages

  • Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the room or motel property during their stay.

  • Ocean View Motel Bowen is not liable for loss or damage to guest property unless required by law.

7. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for cancellations or changes caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or technical failures.
